Kelly Scott Madison Strengthens Media Buying Team with Addition of Experienced Manager
Former Starcom AMD Kevin Kelly brings more than a decade of expertise to KSM’s already well-established buying group
CHICAGO — September 17, 2012 —
Today Kelly Scott Madison, a Chicago-based media company announced the hire of Kevin Kelly to its broadcast department as broadcast supervisor.
Kelly joins KSM with 12 years of specialized experience in media. Throughout his career he has focused on developing expertise in local media buying for TV, radio and digital, along with building a strong background in multicultural marketing towards Hispanic and African-American audiences.
Senior Vice President and Broadcast Director Mel Greve gave her thoughts on the hire by saying, "What attracted us to Kevin was his robust investment background. He is known for his strong relationships within the advertising community, and to be a firm but fair negotiator. Additionally, his strengths in the QSR, Automotive and Telecom categories will help us address the needs of many current and prospective clients. Previously, Kelly was an associate media director at Starcom where he worked on numerous accounts including Burger King and Chevrolet. While at Starcom, his drive to become further accomplished in digital media also led him to manage successful multi-platform campaigns with Univision and other nationally-focused media vendors. Prior to Starcom he served in various roles for Interep Radio Sales, Zenith Media and MZD Advertising handling notable clients such as Verizon Wireless and Papa John’s.
Kelly Graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Telecommunications. Originally from Mendham, N.J., he now resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and three daughters. In his free time he is an avid runner, having competed in seven marathons across the Midwest. Kelly is also a participating member in the Media Advertising Club of Chicago.
